Las Vegas is the most heavily populated city of the state of Nevada, a worldwide famous resort city for gambling, shopping and quality entertainment. Las Vegas, The Entertainment Capital of the World got his fame from the numerous casino resorts and all the related entertainment. It is the 28th most densely inhabited city in the United States with an estimated population of the Las Vegas metropolitan area as of 2008, of over 1,8 million.
Las Vegas was founded in 1905 and officially turned into a city in 1911. As the city accepted a wide range of adult entertainment, it was called the Sin City being the favorite location for numerous films and television programs. It might surprise you, but Las Vegas has more than 500 churches and synagogues which is a lot more than the average in per capita term. Las Vegas is filled with outdoor lighting displays, it is the city that never sleeps and from space it is the brightest city on Earth.
