No More Siegfried & Roy
The much-loved illusionist duo Siegfried & Roy have announced their retirement, six years after Roy Horn was attacked and injured onstage in Las Vegas by his tiger.
The official announcement of the retirement was made by Siegfried Fischbacher in a German publication on Tuesday, January
5th, 2010, stating that there will be “no comeback”.
They ended the show at The Mirage, following the incident when Horn was in part paralyzed when the white pet tiger attacked him in 2003.
The duo claimed the tiger tried to drag Horn to safety as Horn suffered a heart attack during their act.
It is still not know what will happen with their animals that are now residing at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
