The Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas
The Orleans Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is situated about one mile west of the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel with French Quarter theme is a short walk away from its companion hotel The Gold Coast with free shuttle service to its sister property, Bill’s Gamblin Hall.
The 21 story hotel offers 1,886 guestrooms, which are rather spacious with their 450 square feet. For the standard guest rooms you might choose from two queens and one kind sized bed and you also have a special seating area with views to the famous Las Vegas Strip. The Orleans Hotel rooms include such amenities as complimentary shuttle service to the Strip, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, 24 hour room service, cable TV, clock radio, telephone, pay per view movies, business center, free valet parking and air conditioning. Other amenities are available upon request for a fee, such as Strip view rooms, non-smoking rooms, refrigerators, high speed internet connection, handicap accessible rooms and rollaway beds. There are some other spacious rooms available at the Orleans Hotel, such as the Executive Suit with 900 square feet, the Louisiana Suite with 1,350 square feet, the New Orleans Suite with over 1,800 square feet and ultimately the Presidential Suite with 2,500 square feet! The pool area consists of two outdoor pools, a large oval pool and a lounging pool, plus a warm spa tub. The spa and fitness center next to the pool area has various spa treatments, cardiovascular and weight training machines.
The Orleans Casino with over 142,000 square feet offers various gaming options such as 3,000 video poker, video keno and slot machines, roulette, craps, Pai Gow Poker or blackjack. The casino also features a Race and Sports Book and a poker rooms with 24 tables. There is the Keno Lounge with space for 60 players and open all day long. . While at the Orleans & Casino you should not miss the Orleans shows which changes every couple of days, featuring famous musicians and comedians for the delight of the audience. For dining you might choose from the 13 available restaurants, including the Canal Street offering steak, seafood and prime rib, the Prime Rib Loft with aged prime rib, the Don Miguel’s with Mexican dishes and with a marguerite bar, Big Al’s Oyster Bar with seafood specialties or the Koji Sushi Bar & China Bistro with Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Sbarro with Italian dishes, pizza, pasta and salads.
