Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

One of Las Vegas’s landmarks, the Stratosphere Hotel with its 1,149 foot tower is visible nearly from anywhere in Las Vegas. The tower features extreme rides, revolving lounge and restaurants, spa and weddings. The amazing tower is over 115 stories high and offers a view of the entire Vegas Strip.

The hotel accommodates its guests in 2,444 rooms and suites spread on twenty-four floors. Hotel rooms and suits typically include air conditioning, electronic door locks, remote controlled cable TV, pay per movies, in room safe, alarm clock, radio, telephone and voice mail, desk, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All hotel rooms have wireless internet access.

The hotel offers such amenities as safety deposit boxes, wake up calls, concierge, maid, luggage and dry cleaning service, laundry service or currency exchange. You can also visit the health club and the spa/salon featuring different types of massages, waxing, haircuts, hair styles, makeup, facials, manicures and pedicures, eye, lip and neck lifts and body wraps. You cab also enjoy the heated pool, situated on the eight floor with cabanas, waterfall and whirlpool. The Club 25 is located on the twenty-fifth floor, available only for people over twenty-one because of European sunbathing. The hotel is also great for meetings and conventions as there is 8,000 square feet of meeting space with numerous meeting rooms.

The hotel features 80,000 square feet of gaming floor with pai gow poker, poker, mini baccarat, blackjack, slots, megabucks, super megabuck, 10X odds on craps, roulette, slots, keno and video poker.

The Stratosphere Hotel and Casino has several dining options, such as Fellini’s Ristorante with chicken, spaghetti and shrimp (Italian food); Courtyard Buffet with ham, fresh fruit and eggs (Buffet type); Mamma Ilardo’s with wings, soup and pizza (American type); Roxy’s Diner with meatloaf, burgers and chicken (American food); Naga Chinese Express with crab, claims and rib (Sushi & Asian food); Top of the World with lamb, lobster and steak (Gourmet American) and Lucky’s Cafe with ham, eggs and omelets (American food).

The Stratosphere Hotel and Casino offers plenty of quality entertainment with its numerous shows and attractions. The ‘American Superstars’ combines the talents of artists portraying such stars as Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson or Tim McGraw. ‘Bite’ is a sensual, topless and erotic revue revolving around sex, sin and seduction featuring a lord vampire looking for the perfect woman. The ‘Big Shot’ shot you up from a platform 921 feet up for an additional 160 feet, reaching 1,081 feet up in the air. Two other rides, ‘Insanity’ and ‘X-Scream’ will most certainly exhilarate you. The ‘Observation Deck’ at 1,149 feet above the ground, it is the tallest tower in the entire United States, with windows 360 degrees around you, from ceiling to floor, allowing you to see the entire Las Vegas around.

While you are Vegas at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, you can party all night long in one of the hotel’s nightclubs. At Polly Esthers you’ll have the disco ball to boogie and grove, at the Images Lounge you can enjoy a few drinks and relax with the performing bands. Other popular party destinations include the Oasis Lounge, Crazy Armadillo, C Bar or the Romance at Top of the World.
