New York – New York is one of the most famous themed hotels on the entire Las Vegas Strip. Every detail of the hotel and casino is the replica of the true Big Apple. Rooms are named after certain areas of New York, there is the 150 foot replica of the Statue of Liberty, a tribute to the victims of the September 11 attacks situated at the bottom of the Statue of Liberty, the 300 foot long and 50 foot high replica of the Brooklyn Bridge, or other significant landmarks as Ellis Island Immigrant Receiving Station, Grand Central Station Terminal or the United Nations Building Assembly Hall.
Also, the entire interior of the New York-New York Hotel and Casino truly reproduce the essence of New York City, including the trees of Central Park, or a bar in the middle of Times Square.
The hotel accommodates its guests in 2,023 rooms including the Broadway rooms with an amazing view of the Strip, or the Spa suites with about 450 square feet of space. The hotel rooms include a wide range of amenities such as air conditioning, remote controlled cable TV, pay per view movies, alarm clock and radio, electronic door locks, web TV, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, desk, in room safe, telephone and voice mail.
The hotel itself also offer numerous amenities including concierge, Coney Island themed games and video arcade, laundry, currency exchange, luggage and maid service, safety deposit boxes, wake up calls, room service, bar & lounge, shoe shine, parking garage with free parking, business services, conference rooms, dry cleaning, business center and wedding services.
The New York New York Casino spreads on a total of 84,000 square feet and is also New York City themed, featuring numerous casino games such as roulette, craps, blackjack, mini baccarat, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride, Casino War, Keno or Big Six. Guest can try their luck at over 2,000 slot machines including monopoly, wheel of fortune, jeopardy, megabucks, empire slots, moneytime and Elvis. The casino also has a 40 seat race and sports nook with 12 large screens and 45 televisions.
Guest looking to relax can visit the Spa offering various types of massages and a full-service salon as well. Another excellent destination is the pool area of the hotel, which is located in the shadow of the Manhattan Express roller coaster, giving it a one of a kind panorama. The pool includes enough space for 840 people and also three Jacuzzis. Guest can also go shopping in one of the shops within the hotel, including Regis Signature Salon, l Love NY-NY Signature Shop, Vegas Express, Grand Central Watch Company or the Soho Village.
The New York-New York Hotel and Casino offer several dining options to choose from, including such restaurants as Chin Chin Café, America, Il Fornaio, Coney Island Pavillon, Nine Fine Irishmen, The Sporting House Bar & Grill, Gallagher’s Steakhouse and the Village Eateries.
When it comes to entertainment try the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster, the Dueling Pianos at the bar at Times Square, de Cirque de Soleil show, Zumanity which features acrobatics, comedy and a great deal of sexuality. Live entertainment is also available in the lounges.
