Celine Dion Back in Las Vegas for 3-years at Caesars Palace

Celine Dion Back in Las VegasCeline Dion is coming back to Las Vegas in 2011 for a three year run at the 4,300 seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Her previous show “A New Day” hosted by the same location garnered over $400 million and was seen by almost 3 million fans over five years. She show closed in December 2007.

Dion’s new show is set to begin on March 15, 2011 while tickets for the initial 54 performances will be on sale starting from Friday. According to officials, tickets will cost $55 to $250 not including taxes and fees.

Dion will bring a complete orchestra and band, as well as a classic Hollywood movie romance theme, featuring different songs from classic to fan favorites.

“It’s going to be a very beautiful show, and I think we’ll be raising the bar higher than we’ve ever done before,” said the Canadian singer in a statement. “There’ll be some truly wonderful moments.”

Celine Dion is the youngest of fourteen children in a family of musicians and releases her first two albums at the same time at the age of thirteen. Over the years, she sold over 200 millions of album in the world and garnered five Grammy awards. Two of her songs -- the title song of “Beauty and the Beast” and “My Heart Will Go On” from the box office hit Titanic – won Academy Awards in the Best Original Song category.
