Yes, it is true; there are numerous free things to do in Las Vegas as there is a huge competition between casinos to attract customers. To draw in customers in their casino, they are spending a great deal of money putting up quality and free shows and attractions, which makes Las Vegas a unique and great place for free entertainment. As it is not cheap to travel, combined with all the temptations to gamble in the casinos, there are various free things to do while visiting Las Vegas.

Below are just some of these free things you can do along with your entire family on your trip to Las Vegas.

The Bird Show at Vegas’ Hawaiian Marketplace offers you a taste of Hawaii while you are entertained by a free bird show by the Birdman of Las Vegas. The Bird shows take place from Friday to Sunday from 1.00pm to 3.00 pm. The show will entertain you with eagles, cockatoos, owls and macaws, plus you will be finding out interesting things about these amazing birds.

Take part in the Free Show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and watch the Greek Gods – Apollo, Plutus or Venus – come alive in animatronic form at the mall at Caesars Palace. The show consisting of remarkable water, laser and light show will entertain you daily every hour starting from 10.00am. The children will be also delighted by the show and will be amazed by the statues that are moving.

The Las VegasMirage Volcano is another great free attraction. The fabulous show of the erupting volcano at the Mirage Hotel and Casino, featuring drums delights visitors each night starting at 8.00pm and are every hour on the hour till midnight.
A Las Vegas Revue will not cost you anything with the show In the Sky at the Rio Hotel and Casino on the Flamingo Road. The singers and dancers will enchant you in this revue hourly from 7.00pm till midnight, from Thursday to Sunday. Please note that all guest must be 38 inches and above to take part in it.

Take a walk through the Grand Canal Shoppes to St. Mark’s Square at the Venetian to watch the street performers and the living statues. Located at the first level of the Casino, the Shoppes is open from 10.00am to 11pm.

Right in the heart of the Bellagio is the Gallery of Fine Art. Visiting the current exhibits and the various artworks from museums and private collections is something not to miss, especially if you are an art enthusiast.

The garden is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week spreading on over 13,500 square feet with more than 1,200 exotic plants.

The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino offers for free a Sirens Show that combines music, dancing, swordplay, acrobatics, pyrotechnics and a full size ship sinking. The show is about 15 minutes where poorly dressed women fight the pirates. The show takes places every night at 7.00pm, 8.30pm, 10.00pm and 11.30 pm.

The Rock and Roll Memorabelia at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is filled with collectible from all famous rock and roll stars. They are featuring Beatles collectibles, Madonna’s underwear, and autographed guitars or drum sets from famous bands as well as leather jackets from the Ramones and Aerosmith. It is opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
