Getting around Las Vegas
Walking down the Las Vegas Boulevard, known as the Strip, will give you the chance to relax and to see al the fun and attractive places in the city. A great variety of resorts and hotels are next to each other and merely walking along them will offer you a memorable experience.
Each place is unique and one of a kind, so you will not forget those moments very easily. As the majority of the hotels offer fee valet parking that is why it is recommended to rent a car and drive by, being a fast and convenient way to move around.
If it is your first visit to Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, there are certain things that you should know and be prepared for.
For instance, as you walk down the Strip, be prepared for some local quirks who will try to sell you adult materials and advertisement as you pass by. No need to worry, because they will not harm you in any way. It is preferable to simple ignore them.
You also be aware of the fact that – and this is stated in the law – you are not allowed to open up and drink beverages in the buses.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that you should walk only where pedestrian walking is permitted. There are numerous crosswalks to use but be careful about the cars as the last thing that you would want is to get hurt. Use the pedestrian bridges wherever is possible and that can be found from place to place, as there are many irritated drivers in Las Vegas and I am sure that you don’t want to mess with them.
