If you are visiting Las Vegas during the holidays, you need to be prepared for the unexpected. Remember, Las Vegas is overcrowded this time of the year, as it is one of the top Christmas and holiday season attraction in the world. People will come to Las Vegas not just from the United States, but from almost all countries of the world.

1. Make sure you are ready for almost anything. Las Vegas’s weather is rather unpredictable, so pack for both cold and warm temperatures. Bring along with you various types of shoes, as you don’t want to walk a couple of mile in high heels.

2. Bring lots of money with you as you don’t want to get stuck in Vegas with empty pockets. Who knows, you might lose all your money at the casinos. It is better to have enough money with you, just in case. Drinking shouldn’t cost you a lot, as alcohol is usually free.

3. Book reservation in advance. It is very important to plan ahead, and do not book just a few days before your departure. Las Vegas is one of the hottest tourist destinations and does require serious planning if you want to have a good time there.

4. If it’s possible leave the kids at home. Las Vegas is not the ideal place for kids; it is preferable to go with other adults or your spouse.

5. Be aware of your limits and make sure you know when to stop gambling. I am sure that the last thing on your mind is to get drunk and lose all your money at the casino.

6. Don’t have dinner on the holidays. I know, it does sound strange, but believe me, it is one of the best tips ever. Instead, have a big lunch and carry on with your plans. I am sure that you don’t want scramble for food on New Years Eve!

7. Be ready to tip as you have never tipped before. Nearly all bartenders, casino dealers, slot machine attendants, hotel maids, waiters relies heavily on tips. Hotel maids will most probably deserve a good tip, especially if you turned your hotel room upside down the previous night.

8. Make sure to drink enough water, because you’ll get dehydrated quickly, more even if you are drinking a lot of alcohol.

9. Guard your personal information, as identity theft might happen even today in Las Vegas, regardless of how safe everything seems to be. It is preferred to have your important documents locked up in a safe deposit box. However, always have your I.D. at you and be prepared to show your personal information in case you strike luck and win the Jackpot.

10. Enjoy yourself and have fun. Survive Las Vegas by having fun and with a smile on your face. Be generous and nice to the people who are performing various services for you, such as taking your bags, cleaning up the mess in your hotel room or bring you food in the restaurant. Don’t complain for minor things and tip generously.

Indeed, when you are in Las Vegas during the holidays, you have to be prepared for anything. I spent the New Years Eve last year in Las Vegas, and it is something that I will never forget.

It was fun and everything, but it is crowded with all sort of people. I had no idea that Vegas attracts so many foreigners. I survived and that is what really matters.

Although I gambled at the casinos, I didn’t lost all my money… just half of it! Thank God that my wife was with me and pulled me off, before I gambled the rest of the money that I had with me.

For now, a one time holiday party at Vegas was enough for me; this year I am staying in my hometown. I might visit Las Vegas again off season, when it is not so crowded.

Anyway, if you are looking for some great party, go to Vegas For New Years Eve! Just prepare yourself with a lot of patience and money :)

That is my goal too, survive Las Vegas during the New Years Eve party in Las Vegas.

I am planning to spend the end of the year with my friends in Las Vegas and we are all looking forward to it. It will be a girls party! All single ladies! Watch out Las Vegas, as we are coming! We want to party, drink and have fun! Who knows what next year will bring to us!

I just hope that I will not lose all of my money at the casinos, because I want to gamble while I am in Vegas. I might get lucky and win the Jackpot!

It is good to know that alcohol is mostly free in Vegas, I will remain with more money to gamble :)

I know one thing: it is no sin to party at New Years Eve in Las Vegas.

This is one great article on how to survive Las Vegas during the holidays. I will try to keep in mind all these tips even in the middle of the party :) I will be drinking all day long, so I can’t promise anything.

Great tip about leaving the kids at home. I totally agree, Vegas is no place for kids, especially during the holidays. Plus, when you you have to deal with them, there will be no party, that is for sure. Good thing that my parents are not leaving anywhere during the holidays, so they will be able to look after my children.

I would not miss for anything on the world to party in Las Vegas on New Years Eve. After that, we all go back to work to the same old daily routine.

So, let’s have fun in Sin City!!!

Here are just some of the best parties:
