Las Vegas is a very popular destination for tourists from the United States and from all countries around the world hoping to win big time. There are also many people who come to Las Vegas for the resorts such as the Bellagio, MGM Grand or Mandalay Bay. The cost of a weekend vacation in Las Vegas might not cost you a lot. If you are planning to make a Las Vegas vacation and you are looking for way to save money, read on, as you will find useful information. There are a couple of free airport shuttle services that you can use in Las Vegas.
The Palace Station Hotel and Casino has a free airport shuttle service to and from the hotel for the guests of the Hotel. Your room key or boarding pass from the hotel is the proof that you’re a guest there. The shuttle service operates from 6am from the hotel to the airport and back to the hotel at 7am, in this hour loop form until the final trip from the airport to the hotel at 11:30pm. The shuttle service is a reliable one, but some minor delays might occur because of the loading and unloading times. Even if the bad weather might cause other delays, the service is available daily to and from the airport.
Sunset Station Hotel and Casino offers free shuttle service to and from the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas to the hotel. The shuttle service operates daily. Sunday to Thursday the service starts at 7am from the hotel and the last departure from the hotel is at 5pm. From the airport it starts at 7:30 am with the last pickup at 5:30 pm. There is no pickup at 11:30 am or at 3:30pm. Fridays the shuttle service is expanded to 10pm from the hotel, the last pickup from the airport is at 10:30 pm. The shuttle service is something that you can always count on, even if some delays might occur.
South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa also offer a free shuttle service to the McCarran International Airport for guests only. To take the shuttle you must book a reservation with the hotel and the service is first come first serve base. There might no seats if you delay too much to book a reservation. Reservation must be made at least 24 hours before arriving to Las Vegas, if you want to get a shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
The service is offered on a daily basis, starting at 6am and running to 12:30 am from the hotel, while from the airport starts at 6:30am and runs until 1am. On time departures are not guaranteed and scheduled might be changed, so check the shuttle service at the hotel to ensure that you will not miss your flight. Generally, the shuttle service is a reliable one, even if it is not always on time.
The shuttle service also transports persons without any charge to the Mandalay Bay resort, giving you a free ride to the Las Vegas Strip. This particular one runs 9am to 12:30 constantly; last pickup from Mandalay Bay to South Point is at 1am every morning.
La Quinta Inn offers a 24 hours shuttle service for free for the guests of the hotel. This is a real bargain, as you can get on call shuttle service to some locations in Las Vegas for free. The service is dependable; however some waiting is involved, as when you are calling the shuttle service its program is changed.
Super 6 Las Vegas Hotel offers a free 24 hours shuttle service to and from the airport. For pickup and drop off you have to contact the front desk. It is a reliable shuttle service, and as it does not have a fixed schedule, some waiting time is involved, because the shuttle might have to drop other guests. One thing is sure though that you are going to be picked up.
There are other shuttle services in Las Vegas to and from the airport but most of them are paid services. Almost all hotels offer shuttles but they will cost you as much as $5-$15 one way. Various online services are also providing shuttle and limousine services to and from Las Vegas strip hotels and casinos. For several destinations on the strip there is the monorail system.
